Faerie Lights

I don’t know why (maybe it’s my being sick) but lately, I’ve felt like sharing pictures of things. So here we go: I’m going to show you everything beautiful saved on my computer.

{all the images are linked to the photobookmarking site where I found them, and on that site are further links to the home of each image}

This last one is my favorite. I suppose some of those images aren’t what people would normally consider beautiful, that third one for instance. But for me, beauty is things that speak to me, and that’s why it was included.

One last one then, to wrap it up. I really hated this movie because of how sad it made me. It took everything bad about childhood and threw it in my face. There wasn’t enough hope in it to make up for that. But at the same time, I couldn’t help but remember how many times I’d read the book when I was little, and remembered how much fun it was to, for a short time, be wild.

  1. Wow, that monarch butterfly dress is seriously beautiful. (I used to have a total obsession with monarch butterflies, back when I gardened for them and couldn’t grow milkweed fast enough for their little caterpillars to eat it up again, but that’s another story.)

    But I confess I totally don’t get the smoking dude with the bloody hand and face. That’s kinda freaky to me. But, beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that…
